Josie Holly, M.A. CF-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist

I’ve always had a passion for working with children and do not take lightly working with the pediatric age group. It is such a vital time of growth in their lives. The people they are around, and their environment contribute to who they will grow to be. I enjoy being someone in a child’s life that they can feel comfortable around as they grow in their confidence as a communicator. My favorite part about my job is building meaningful relationships with the child and their family; I believe it’s a crucial component in therapy. I believe in taking a holistic approach when treating a child, as many factors can contribute to our communication ability. I want therapy to be a positive and fun experience for the child, so I love getting to know their interests and incorporating them into sessions.

Baking and cooking are passions of mine, and I had the incredible opportunity to create a cooking therapy program that targeted receptive/expressive language and executive functioning. Dance is another passion of mine, and I love looking for opportunities to incorporate movement into therapy.
