Diana Koranda, M.A. CCC-SLP
Speech Language Pathologist
My philosophy for speech therapy is built on child and family-focused treatment! Our kiddos are going through some of the most amazing, exciting, and challenging changes in their lives; learning and growing! They are the leaders of their own journeys, and we are there to support them in a fun, positive, and creative way. When our kids feel in control of their learning, they can reach new heights. Working collaboratively with families to help their children grow daily, not just on “speech day,” is the key to great skill carryover. Watching a child become excited and proud of their accomplishments is what fuels my work as a speech therapist. I love seeing my clients light up when they realize they have finally gotten a skill they’ve worked hard to achieve.
Diana Koranda received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Augustana College followed by her Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from Northern Illinois University. Diana specializes in working with children with speech and language impairments including phonological disorders, expressive and receptive language disorders, social pragmatic language deficits, and children on the Autism spectrum. She has worked in a long-term acute care hospital as well as in an elementary school, but she especially loves working with younger children!
