Dania Polly, COTA/L

Occupational Therapist

My philosophy is to work as a team with both the child and caregivers to help foster growth and independence in all skills including play, social, emotional regulation and activities of daily living. I work to help the child build confidence across all environments and to help support parents in remembering that no matter what the challenges or difficulties, their child is truly SPECIAL. I work as part of a multidisciplinary team to help each and every child not only build skills but also build hopes and dreams by setting and meeting goals.

I’ve worked in a variety of pediatric settings including outpatient, home-based, Early Intervention, and schools (pre-K- 5th grade). Throughout my career, I have worked with children with a variety of diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, Down Syndrome, rare genetic disorders, Rett Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and ADHD, to name just a few.
